As a gifted artist, Robert’s passion and talent for color and design led him to earn a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA). After 40 years of industry experience as an Art Director for prestigious companies, such as Time Warner and the National Geographic Society, Robert retired in 2019 to pursue painting full-time.
He has had the pleasure and opportunity to learn from many of the recognized national & international pastel teachers; Tony Allain, Shephie Clark and Richard Mckinley.
Robert has exhibited watercolors at the Ocean Gallery in Laguna Beach, CA., pastel paintings for the 2021 juried Laurel Art Guild Exhibition, 2022, 2023 juried member web exhibits for the Red Rock Pastel Society of Nevada and 2024 Philadelphia Pastel Society members exhibit.
